Most Curious Tours is a new arts tour company based in Great Britain. We decided that there were far too many big bus tours of London, and not enough opportunities to really explore the diverse and fascinating cultural sites outside of the capital – so we decided to do it for ourselves.
At Most Curious Tours we travel in small groups by scenic railway routes, stay in independent accommodation, and attend local concerts and theatre productions in carefully chosen locations important to the arts in Britain. We want our groups to relax, and we know that travelling with too many people won't help that. That's why we've capped our tours at a maximum of 10 people. Plus, we'll have a good chat with you prior to the tour to make sure we can accomodate your specific needs.
Travelers have the choice of either our one or two week arts tours of England and Scotland; enjoying the cultural hotspots as well as some lesser-known, but equally desirable destinations. Our two week arts tour begins in London, and calls at Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, York, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Newcastle and Durham, and ends in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. The shorter, one week tour, ends in York. A typical tour will include a Royal Shakespeare Company play, a visit to the young Lewis Carroll’s Oxford college, a trip into Brontë country, the opportunity to sit awhile in the same café in which Harry Potter was written, the chance to marvel at Edinburgh Castle and attend concerts showcasing some of today’s most talented musicians. Each individual tour is tailored to the literary, music and art festivals available in each of the destinations at that specific time.
We look forward to meeting you on our arts tours!
